The Messiah is living a charmed life, because the MSM will paint a good picture, regardless of his missteps. And, when the polls ask inner city people about Obama the response is going to be positive. Most polls are skewed to primarily survey the cities with high Democratic Party voter registration. Garbage in and garbage out.
What is the reality? And just what has the Republican Party done to regain support?
Nothing Snowy, politics is bankrupt, a shill, just marketing and packaging.
Nothing new there, Zak. But that doesn't explain why Obama's polling numbers differ from reality, as you claim.
The Republicans had their chance in 1995- 1998 but continued politics as usual spending on all sorts things to buy the voter's support. Now the Dems are in charge and when they mess up again the voters will throw them out and the other party will win a majority over and over again. Our problems are the result of many hands.
Yes, you do wonder about the wisdom of democracy at times, where votes are up for auction at every election. I guess it's still better than the totalitarian alternative, but not much. Plato had the right idea, but where do we find philosopher kings these days.

I thought this was interesting, and refreshing reading after the "all liberals (or conservatives) are stupid" BS that passes for political discussion on most blogs.
